The Learning Grove was founded by three high school students from the College Preparatory School in Oakland. We recognize and are grateful that we have access and privileged to a great education, but also realize that many students have not been presented with the same opportunity. We desire students to achieve a conceptual understanding of fundamental topics in both math and English so that they have a strong foundation to build from in high school and beyond. We want to to make learning fun, accessible and promote a much needed culture of curiosity among young scholars.
