Story Builders (Any Grade)

How To:
Before class starts, place word cards around the room that represent different parts of speech (noun, adjective, verb)
These cards can have a specific theme like space or nature or can be completely random
Divide students into teams (at least five on each team)
Set a timer for five minutes and have the students find the cards around the room
Have students gather in teams and share the words they found with each other
Then, have the students create a story with the cards they have (these stories can be as silly or serious as the students please)
